Overdue New Front Door

We said goodbye to our medieval dungeon front door that was in our house for far too long.
It was easy, affordable and let a ton of light in.
I wish we had done it sooner.

The past few years have been spent on big renovation projects that seem to take F O R E V E R.
I’m impatient and want to hurry up and get it done.
And the husband is a calm and patient perfectionist, so things go much slower.
It helps my antsy self when we squeeze a small improvement in (like a new door), so there is visible progress.

BEFORE

This had to be one of the ugliest front doors I’ve ever seen.

AFTER

The light coming through now is so wonderful.
